In the 
Spring 2011, EUSA announced the formation of our Mother & Daughter Soccer League! And what a blast we had!
We heard you , Moms & Sons and for the Fall 2011 season, we have changed the league to the Mother, Daughter & Son Soccer League!
What better way to bond with our daughters and sons than thru the sport they love - soccer! And yes Ladies, even if you don’t have children, we would love to have you play!
Something can happen out on the field as moms, daughters and sons focus on the ball and live in the moment. Spontaneous talks and chats about the school day occur while kicking the ball around — moments historically envisioned as father-son scenes. Playing together also brings people back to a simpler time. While playing soccer, Blackberries, to-do lists and daily pressures fall out of focus. And most importantly, it’s just plain fun!
This is a fundraiser for our Club.
The EUSA Mother, Daughter & Son League will be run by team captains and volunteers.
TEAMS: Teams will be comprised of up to 18 players with a split of 50/50 Adult to Child ratio per team.
SEASON: We will play in the Spring and Fall season in conjunction with our Youth Soccer Schedules. Spring Season will begin Sunday, April 3rd weather permitting and Fall Season will begin Sunday, September 11th weather permitting.
FORMAT: We will play 9v9 on a ¾ size field with goals. Games will be 4-12 minute quarters with a 5 minute half.
COST: The cost is $30 for the Parent and $10 for each child registered for a 10-week season which includes a team jersey to be worn for both the Fall & Spring season. All fees collected are for fundraising for the Club.
GAME TIMES: Games are scheduled on Sundays at 3pm.
FIELD: Thomas Edison Park, Field #4 in Edison, NJ
EQUIPMENT: Each player is responsible for shorts, cleats, socks & shinguards. If you wear glasses, you must have sports approved goggles.
REGISTRATION: Spring Registration opens February 14th - February 28th. Fall Registration opens July 1st - July 15th.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY: Play is open to all females ages 6 to 96 and boys ages 5-11.
GAME RULES: The rules are simple:
- Open to all girls and women 6 - 96 years of age and boys 5-11 years of age who wish to play recreational soccer
- Goalie Position: must be 16 years old or older to play position
- In order for a girl under 18 or a boy under 12 to play, an Adult female family member/friend must also be registered
- 8 field players must be comprised of 4 Adults and 4 children (18 and under)
- Maximum roster will be 18 players
- Games will be 4 - 12 minute quarters with a 5 minute half
- No Formal Referees
- All players will play a minimum of 50% of the game
- Unlimited substitutions
- Standard safety equipment applies: cleats, shinguards and eye wear protection
