While Trustees do not have any specific roles or responsibilities, they can be given authority over a specific project or process that is deemed necessary by the Executive Board as a whole.  In many cases, Trustees assist the President or Executive Vice President with the planning and management of special events.

Trustees are not elected by the general membership, but instead appointed to their position by nomination and subsequent approval of the Executive Board.
