Each spring the Mid-NJ Youth Soccer Association League holds a Divisional playoff for each age group. The winners of each flight compete against each other to determine the year’s Division Champion.

Over 50+ teams vie for the league title. For 2010, the U11 Edison United Evolution Girl’s team captured the coveted honor of becoming the league’s division champions. The Evolution first defeated the flight 3 Watchung Hills Lightning 1-0 in the 2nd round of the playoffs on our home field at the Spencer Rockman Complex on June 14th, which sent them to the League Championship. The Championship game was played in East Brunswick on Saturday, June 19th, where after 2 x 35 minute halves and 2 x 5 minute overtime periods, the scoreless game was decided on penalty kicks and the Edison Evolution defeated the Greater Flemington Mustangs on penalty kicks 3-2. Congratulations to the U11G Edison Evolution for their tremendous victory and a phenomenal season!
