Congratulations to a few Edison United Soccer Teams
For the Falll 2009 Season
On the arduous road of Travel Soccer in Mid-NJ, three Edison United Soccer teams walk side by side as top teams in their division and age groups. A difficult accomplishment this is even more so at the better levels of travel competition where teams, coaches and trainers must prove their skills, determination and staying power season after season, year after year against unyielding, unrelenting and unforgiving opponents whose teams, coaches and trainers are of the same mindset.
We’re proud to announce a new partner in our fund-raising efforts. We’ve joined TD Bank’s Affinity Membership Program, which provides our organization the opportunity to earn annual cash contributions. We’re thrilled with the ease of participating in this program and that there is no cost to our organization or our members.
Edison United Soccer Association Announces 2009 Scholarship Recipients
Edison United Soccer Association (EUSA) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2009 Scholarship Awards in the amount of $500 each. The EUSA Scholarship Fund was established as a means to encourage our soccer youth to pursue their full potential through continued education. This year’s recipients are Emily Kleiman and Jillian Beer.
EUSA is a very large club. Over the course of a year (two seasons) EUSA has about 2,800 children who participate in one of three programs. As such parents are going to have a lot of questions about the organization and how their children might be able to participate. Answers to any questions you may have can be found if you look at the SITE CONTENTS panel on the left and click on the appropriate link for more information.
HELP US WIN $2,500 FROM LIBERTY MUTUAL!
Liberty Mutual is awarding $2,500 community grants as part of its Responsible Sports program championing and celebrating responsibility in youth sports.
EUSA has over 2,800 children each year involved in recreation, micro, inter-county and travel soccer. Our children’s and our community’s overall safety is always a priority. In our continued efforts at EUSA to be pro-active regarding safety for our children and the community, we perform background checks on all coaches in the recreation, micro and travel divisions. This Eusa Policy started in the 2008 spring season. We are one of the first youth organizations in Edison Township to voluntarily do so and will continue season to season.
