WELCOME to EDISON UNITED SOCCER REGISTRATION INFORMATION!

In an effort to streamline operations, Edison United Soccer Association (EUSA) and Demosphere International are pleased to introduce the convenience of online registration.  Currently, the registration system can accommodate credit card (VISA, MasterCard & Discover).  Payment must be made at the time of registration for a registration to be considered complete and a player assigned to a team.  All incomplete registrations are deleted weekly.  $25 savings are applied for early registrations.  

REGISTRATION TIME PERIODS:
Seasonal Registration windows are as follows for Kick & Play, Foundation & Development ICYSL & Adult Coed leagues:

• Fall Season - registration opens May 31.  Early savings are thru June 30.  Registration closes August 30 or sooner if all teams are full.
• Spring Season - registration opens October 31.  Early savings are thru December 31. Registration closes February 28 or sooner if all teams are full.
• Winter Season - registration opens November 30.  No waiting list will be offered.  Registration closes December 27 or when 240 registrants are reached, whichever is first.

Please DO NOT contact EUSA to ask if an exception can be made to allow any registrations during those times that it is not offered.

REGISTERING YOUR CHILD:

The online registration system is user friendly and very secure.  Please take the time to walk thru each step of the registration process and provide us with as much household information as possible.  EUSA will be collecting data through our registration system to help with league administration (e.g. team assignments, volunteer assignments and league communications). 

VOLUNTEER WORK BOND:

There will be a mandatory $75 volunteer work bond added to each household at seasonal registration.  YOU CANNOT OPT OUT OF PAYMENT.  The CLUB is asking for 2 volunteer hours per family per season to assist in the daily operation of our organization.  To learn more, please click here.  A registration is not considered COMPLETE until the volunteer bond has been paid.  If you cancel your registration, volunteer work bonds will not be refunded.

PROGRAMS:

EUSA has a program for every member of the soccer family from ages 2.5 to 85, regardless of skill level.  Please click on the blue star to be taken to the on-line registration page.

  Winter Skills & Drills - Kinder to 8th Grade is a 10-week program designed to take the FUNdamental skills of our soccer players to the next level.  Each Saturday class is highly focused on a specific soccer skill: dribbling, controlling, passing, juggling and shooting.  Training is indoors and conducted by our professional soccer training staff.

• Training is January thru March
• Clinic held indoors at Metuchen Sports located at 100 High Street, Metuchen, NJ:  Times to be determined.  

  Kick & P.L.A.Y. - 2.5 to 4 year olds is a non-competitive program where we utilize fun soccer techniques to train advanced motor skills, dynamic dribbling, shooting skills and fitness.  We end each session with a story from 7 Habits of Happy Kids where children will learn subtle messages these seven stories teach about good habits.  Each class is run by a professional soccer trainer.  Class sizes are limited.  

• Spring season usually begins first Saturday in April.  Fall season usually begins first Saturday after Labor Day. Program and runs 8 weeks (dependent on weather - no makeups)
• Fee includes T-Shirt, Smiley Soccer Ball, and participation medal.
• Games played at Spencer Rockman Soccer Complex on Saturdays

  Foundation League - 5 - 10 year olds is designed to help young players become more comfortable playing the game of soccer by placing more emphasis on developing their basic skills as an individual player rather than focus on team-oriented skills. 1st 45 minutes are spent with professional trainers and 2nd 45 minutes are small sided scrimmages.  Games follow the small-sided format to increase touch and play. Teams are run by volunteer parent-coaches. Teams will be formed by year of birth and gender.  

• Spring season usually begins first Saturday in April.  Fall season usually begins first Saturday after Labor Day. Program runs for 10 weeks (dependent on weather - no makeups)
• Fee includes uniform, professional training, trophy, and pizza party
• Games played at Spencer Rockman Soccer Complex on Saturdays

  ICYSL Development (formerly Inter-County) League - U11 - U19 year olds who want more competition, but are not ready for Travel soccer.  5 games are played at Home and 5 Away games with travel up to 40 minutes.  A two-season commitment, Fall & Spring, is required and payment is based on 2 seasons. Teams are run by volunteer parent-coaches.

• Spring season usually begins first Saturday in April.  Fall season usually begins first Saturday after Labor Day. Program runs for 8 weeks with a season end tournament (dependent on weather - no makeups).  
• Fee includes uniform, EUSA soccer ball, and professional training
• 5 Home Games in Edison and 5 Away Games within 40 minutes travel predominately on Saturdays
• Mandatory training with our professional soccer trainers on either Tuesdays or Thursdays based on team schedule between 6-9pm and one weekly training session with your team coach.

  TRAVEL Soccer: FUTURES / Pre-Academy / Academy - U8 - U19 is offered to those players (and their families) who are seeking to play in more competitive matches against teams from other towns and academies in NJ (and possibly other states as well).  Currently, EUSA’s travel teams participate as members of the Mid-NJ Youth Soccer Association (MNJYSA) League (Pre-Academy Teams) and EDP Leagues (Academy Teams). Commitment is from August to June.  Games are played on Sundays and some Saturdays. Teams are run by volunteer licensed soccer parent-coaches with professional soccer trainers.

• Travel tryouts are May - August
• Fees include professional training, tournaments and ref fees.  Uniform fees additional.
• 5 Home Games at Spencer Rockman & 5 Away Games within 45 minutes travel predominately on Sundays
• Winter indoor training mandatory - included in fees
• Speed & Agility & Strength Training included by Sports Science Professionals - AP2T
   

  Adult Co-Ed League - 18 - 85 years old provides opportunities for beginner to advanced players to learn to play soccer for fun and fitness. We encourage our coaches and parents to join in the fun.  We strive to maintain a FUN league for the parents, coaches and friends of EUSA so that we can get together and enjoy a friendly game of soccer and be proper role models for our children. Each team has an assigned captain.

• Fee includes team uniform & referee fees - All fees are for fundraising
• Games are played in Edison on Sundays between 2 - 4:30pm

WEATHER:

EUSA is not responsible for games canceled due to weather or field conditions.  EUSA reserves the right to schedule weather related make-up games where appropriate.  No refunds or partial refunds will be made due to games missed because of weather and/or field conditions and/or state of emergency restrictions.
