This message is for all players interested in joining a team and persons interested in forming and coaching teams that will play for our EUSA club in Mid-NJ starting in the spring of ’10. This message is primarily for the Spring ’10  High School teams but any newly formed team is welcome into our club as well.

This message is not for existing teams that currently play in fall of ’09 or for players currently carded (on) to a team.

To avoid problems and misunderstandings in forming and registering teams we will start the process early this year so that all paper work is completed by DEC 15. Online registration for players will end on or about DEC 1st. Coaches should notify prospective players about the registration process and start collecting the completed forms and documents needed. All forms can be down loaded from the EUSA website. Packets will be available late January but TEAMS and paper work must be finalized by DEC 15 or sooner. I need to look at all team forms before players go on vacation

ON LINE REGISTRATION will be available by Oct 29th, 2009 and end by NOV  30^TH.  WWW.EDISONUNITEDSOCCER.COM.

Players must register and pay online for best chance of making a team. Once the deadline passes it will be very difficult to get teams formed. Players who don’t make a team will receive a refund. Players interested in joining other age groups should visit the travel portion of the web-site and send an e-mail to the coach of the age group you are interested in joining.

Currently the Tigers U-11 and Redbulls U-12 boys teams are looking for players. The Evolution U-11 girls team needs a GOALIE.

EVERY PLAYER MUST REGISTER ONLINE THRU THE EUSA WEB-SITE.

ABSOLUTELY NO CHECKS.

Players must make uniform size selection on line.

COST PER PLAYER IS $145. Fee includes two team JERSEYS, SHORTS, SOCKS and ref fees for all games. Coaches must collect uniforms at the end of the season and return them to EUSA.

EUSA will cover State Cup fee for teams Flight 2 or better.

When players register they must indicate for which coach and age group they are signing up for.

Players who don’t name a coach will be placed on teams with openings.

Players who aren’t placed on a team will receive a refund.

ABSOLUTELY, EUSA WILL MAKE FINAL DECISION ON FINAL NUMBER OF PLAYERS ON A TEAM, COACH OF A TEAM, and WHETHER IT WILL REGISTER A TEAM.

The unreliable, unpredictable and irresponsible nature of theses age groups dictate that we MAX out rosters. Coaches have the liberty of selecting players and forming teams based on familiarity but they will also take players PLACED BY EUSA who register without naming a coach for the purpose of rounding out rosters to insure enough players dress for game day.

Forms that need to be filled out are posted on our web-site at www.edisonunitedsoccer.com. USE THE FORMS FROM THE WEB-SITE. THEY ARE UP-TO-DATE.  It is the players responsibility to have these forms prepared for the coach. Parents and Players should only fill in the blanks for which the answers are known.
